About the Artist

Mile Belančić, BelaMi
Bajša, Vojvodina, Serbia
I create handmade mounted photographs and photo lamps from my studio in Bajša, Northern Serbia. Each piece combines original photography with metal or leather mounting, welded frames, and intentional oxidation. These aren't just prints, they're objects that carry the weight and texture of industrial craft.
Background
I studied Art History, which influences my approach to composition and subject matter. My work focuses on abandoned industrial spaces across Vojvodina and beyond — factories, warehouses, railway infrastructure. Places where time and rust tell their own stories.
"The material is part of the message. Steel rusts, leather ages, brass develops patina, just like the subjects I photograph."
